Our legal counsel dictated that each of our company codes (unique EIN) has to file as the authoritative transmitter AND they all make up an ALE group. That means the line 20 on the 1094 has to match line 18 and be just the number of forms for the company, line 21 has to be checked Yes, and Part 4 on each form has to list the other ALE members(companies). I have been going round and round with SAP on this as I have to configure one of the companies as the transmitter in the feature to get line 21 checked Yes and Part 4 filled but then line 20 is the total of 1095 forms across all companies. I have an incident open but no resolution yet.
